Newhaven Mural Trail

Ideal for: Everyone
Take a walk to remember around Newhaven, and you'll see a fabulous range of murals. Great art really is all around you here!

Some artworks can be small, delicate and understated, and there’s nothing wrong with that at all, of course. However, if you prefer your art to be big, bold and ten or more feet high, you’re going to love the Newhaven Mural Trail. Right here on the iconic coast of East Sussex, you can enjoy a wander around the town with a very distinct difference.

Created as part of the Look Again Supergraphics Festival, the Mural Trail features proud and prominent works in various parts of the town. And to help you locate them all, you can obtain a free map detailing where they are all found. Sites around Newhaven include the Railway Sidings, Chapel Street Underpass, Newhaven Square, Seahaven Swin and Fitness, Ship Street and the Jolly Boatman pub.

The trail gives you and your companions a golden opportunity to enjoy a pleasant stroll while at the same time soaking up some truly impressive artworks. Whether you’re with a loved one, walking the dog, spending time with the kids or just savouring some much-needed You Time, we have a feeling you’re going to be mightily impressed by what you see.
