Hove Lagoon

Ideal for: Couples, Everyone, Families, Older Flyers, Solo Flyers
Try your hand at water sports, savour some al fresco dining or simply sit back and soak up the sun!

Rapidly becoming one of the go-to locations on the iconic Sussex coastline, the excellent Hove Lagoon has something to suit all ages and all tastes. It plays host to one of the region’s leading water sports centres, for example, featuring opportunities to try your hand at wakeboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and more, so get ready for some adventure!

If you and your party prefer to stay on dry land, however, there’s also a skateboard park and a play area for the children. Hove Lagoon is a public park, and the focal point of the venue is perhaps the 200-metre-long boating lake. It also has direct access to the beach, so if you’re in the mood for nothing more energetic than catching a few rays, this is the place to be.

Many people like to bring picnics and enjoy some al fresco dining on the grass or on the beach, but if you prefer not to, you can enjoy a great range of hot and cold food and drink at the popular Big Beach Café. If you like to celebrate everything that’s wonderful about the fabulous Sussex coast, we think you should be planning a full day of fun at the Hove Lagoon.
