Horsham Park

Ideal for: Everyone
One of the finest public parks in the region, Horsham Park offers a great range of activities for all ages

It’s always more than pleasant when you can visit a picturesque park in the middle of a busy town. The wonderful Horsham Park provides a very welcome sanctuary well away from the usual hustle and bustle, and it’s rightly popular with visitors of all ages. Sometimes, when all you want from life is a chance to wander aimlessly and enjoy the views, this really has to be the place to visit.

But there’s plenty more to do here, of course. The excellent Pavilions Leisure Centre is right next door, and it offers a range of activities including swimming, gymnastics, badminton, table tennis and more. There’s also soft play for the little ones and a café. On the other side of Horsham Park, there’s a highly rated café that’s popular with both locals and visitors. The park also plays host to outdoor sports including tennis, basketball, volleyball and bowls.

Perhaps one of the most impressive qualities of Horsham Park is the convenience of the location. It’s a very short walk from the town’s railway station, it’s adjacent to the town centre and its varied range of shops and there’s plenty of car parking, too. Even in the winter months, the park is well worth a visit.
