Goffs Park

Ideal for: Everyone
A tranquil location that offers plenty to see and do, Goffs Park is a favourite with visitors of all ages.

Some public parks are little more than open spaces that are pleasant to walk through, and there’s nothing wrong with that, of course, but it’s nice to know that some offer a great deal more. And here in the town of Crawley, you’ll find one that has plenty to see and do, which makes it the perfect spot for several hours of fun and enjoyment.

The focal point of Goffs Park is perhaps Goffs Manor, a Grade II-listed former farmhouse. The dramatic 16th-century building is now a popular pub and restaurant, so your next day in the park can include all the refreshments you could ever want. For added convenience, there are two free car parks for visitors to use. Once you’re parked, fed and watered, you can then set about exploring this glorious facility.

You and your party can try your hand at golf, thanks to the park’s 18-hole pitch and putt course. There’s a model railway here, too, which is always a favourite with the little ones on summer Sundays. And when you’re in the mood for a walk, you can head to the tree trail and perhaps have a stroll around the lake. For fans of fitness, there’s also an outdoor gym.

Goffs Park is located close to the centre of town, and is less than a 15-minute walk from both Crawley and Ifield railway stations.
