Frensham Great Pond

A Green Flag Award-winner, Frensham Great Pond is a picturesque setting that’s perfect for a picnic, too. It’s part of the 1,000-acre Frensham Common, so there’s plenty of room for everyone to savour the great outdoors. There’s a sailing club here, and fishing is also a popular pastime. You’ll also find areas that are set aside for swimming, and a beach that’s ideal for settling back and soaking up the sun. 

There’s car parking nearby, but please note it can fill up very early on warm days. And when you’re in the mood for some well-deserved sustenance, be sure to visit the café for hot and cold drinks plus a range of tasty snacks. Frensham Great Pond is located close to the A287 road between Farnham and Hindhead in Surrey.
