Ideal for: Families
A huge 52-hectare theme park, zoo and hotel complex in Surrey. Home to the 25-metre Croc Drop, exhilarating Tiger Rock log flume and the Jumanji-inspired Mandrill Mayhem, as well as an acclaimed zoo with over a thousand animals plus two beautiful resort hotels.

Ask most visitors about the wonderful Chessington World of Adventures, and the chances are they will tell you that a single day isn’t ever likely to be enough. This world-renowned theme park and zoo has been a favourite with both young and old alike for many years. Located on the southern outskirts of London and within easy reach of the whole south-east region, this is the perfect venue for an unforgettable day of full-on fun.

If you like that fun to be of the white-knuckle variety, this is the place to be. Chessington World of Adventures is home to a number of edge-of-the-seat rollercoasters, including the 25-metre Croc Drop, the exhilarating Tiger Rock log flume, the Jumanji-inspired Mandrill Mayhem and the speedy Ostrich Stampede. And don’t worry if you have smaller children, because there’s still plenty for them to enjoy and experience.

There’s also a highly acclaimed zoo here, with more than a thousand incredible residents. Check out the likes of Asiatic lion, western lowland gorilla, amur tiger, California sea lion, rainbow lorikeet, African pygmy goat and many more. Be sure to also visit the SEA LIFE Aquarium to say hi to the wide variety of marine creatures.

If you’re looking to spend more than a day at Chessington World of Adventures – and you probably should – there are two resort hotels to choose from, each of them offering several themed room options that the kids will love.
