Before we begin, we’d like to share a few things expected from our larkers as you represent our brand during your exploration.

1. Onboarding

We ask our larkers that they complete the onboarding form so that we can arrange for you to visit places that will fit your profile.

2. Start finding out about places to visit

Once we receive your form (and you can be assured that your information is stored in our secured area with limited access, as per our Data Processing Agreement Policy 2024), we will be able to start arranging your visits – please be very specific about your availability and the days you’re available.

3. Start enjoying new experiences in Sussex and Surrey

You will be contacted by Ree Khan, our Experience Manager, who will confirm places to visit and when, there may be several if they’re close together. Please ensure that you express your preference.

Visiting venues and activity participation

  1. Once we understand your availability, and have arranged for you to visit a place on our behalf, please just take time to enjoy your experience. It’s important that you immerse yourself into the place and experience the same as a paying customer.
  2. Please take quality photos and videos whilst you are there, if this is possible. We recommend a mix of portrait and landscape images where appropriate. Sometimes, if your experience involves a digital detox, try and limit the time spent on the phone and just enjoy yourself. Be the judge of what is appropriate.
  3. After your visit, please email two or three images & videos to lucie@golark.co.uk so that we can share them on our social media. In addition, please do the following:
    • Share your visit on your own social media if it’s positive. Avoid doing a negative post and email your feedback to us instead.
    • Your post should include:

      I have been larking about with @golarkabout and visited @ (tag the venue as appropriate) today / this weekend / etc.

    • Please include hashtags: #larkingabout #golarkabout #larkinginSussex #larkinginSurrey

      (choose as appropriate) in your post that relates to your visit

    • If you have any voiceover on a reel, please ensure you enable captions so that hard of hearing users are able to read them.
Making your reels downloadable

Before publishing reels

If you are publishing a reel, please ensure it’s downloadable for us to share on our page.

To do this, please follow the below steps:

  1. Begin preparing your reel for publishing as you normally would
  2. When you reach the final step, at the bottom of the page, select “Advanced Settings”.
  3. Within the Advanced Settings page, ensure “Allow people to download your reels” is toggled on.

On acceptance, we will send you a copy of the GoLark Brand Guidelines. Please familiarise yourself with our brand guidelines for your information. This is important especially as you prepare your social media posts.

Our Expectations

We love connecting with our larkers and want you to enjoy the experience as much as possible. However, please be aware that when visiting venues, you’re representing us and our brand if it’s a prearranged visit. We are therefore expecting all our larkers to conduct themselves in a respectable manner at all times.
