Sometimes the best days out in Surrey are those spent with friends and family, especially when there’s a chance to enjoy some adrenaline-fuelled excitement along the way. If you’ve all got a head for heights and you fancy some adventure, then Wild Wood could be just what you’re looking for. Located right in the town itself on the edge of Stoke Park, this is a woodland facility that really does offer something for everyone.
If you and the gang are up for the challenge, you can look forward to pitting your wits against rope bridges, wobbly crossings, tightropes, obstacles and ziplines as you attempt to complete the course. And at the end, you can choose between heading back to land via the staircase or, if you’re feeling brave, via the freefall drop. Which will you select?
The main course at Wild Wood Adventure is suitable for adults and for children aged 11 and above, and there’s a kid-friendly course featuring logs, bridges, nets and zips for those aged six and upwards. If your young ones love a challenge, here’s where you need to take them. And when you’re all in need of some sustenance, you can unwind at the on-site kiosk, which serves an excellent selection of snacks and hot and cold drinks.
