Buckland Park Lake

Ideal for: Couples, Everyone, Families, Older Flyers, Physically Impaired, Solo Flyers
Home to a pristine lake, a water sports lagoon, dramatic cliffs, almost 50 acres of mature woodland, walking trails, an abundance of wildlife and hides for animal-spotters.

There are so many good reasons to explore Buckland Park Lake, including walking trails, birdlife, sumptuous views and around 50 acres of mature woodland. The centrepiece of the venue, however, is surely the 50-acre lake and water sports lagoon. If you like the idea of a sporting day out on the water, this is where you need to be.

Conveniently located between Reigate and Dorking in the Surrey Hills, Buckland Park Lake offers a fantastic range of activities, including stand-up paddle boarding, open water swimming, fishing and, one of the latest crazes that you will surely want to try, e-foiling. You’ll also find, for those who prefer to remain on dry land, yoga, Nordic walking, fitness classes and more here.

Family days out in Surrey are always enjoyable, and here at Buckland Park Lake they can be extra special. The kids will love the lake circuit walk, the woodland walk and the woodland adventures on offer. For the younger ones, there’s a large sandpit, so be sure to bring your buckets and spades with you.

There’s a lovely picnic site beside the lagoon for those who bring their own food, and if you haven’t there’s no need to go hungry. The Reverie is a lovely on-site restaurant featuring gorgeous views of the countryside, and there’s also an impressive snack wagon at the lagoon offering a great range of temptations.
