Littlehampton Beach

Ideal for: Everyone
Something to suit all ages and all tastes to be found here, so make sure Littlehampton Beach is on your itinerary soon.

There’s something for everyone to enjoy at Littlehampton Beach these days. This is a location that combines perfectly the charms of a long-established traditional British seaside resort and a modern venue that does all it can to make you want to stay for the whole day. If you haven’t been before, we strongly recommend a visit in the coming weeks or months.

The centrepiece of everything here is the mile-long sand and shingle beach. It’s perfect for a lazy day of nothing but sunbathing, but if you’re looking to be more active it’s also home to a selection of water sports, including kite surfing, sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling and more. For those who prefer to stay dry, there’s a lovely long promenade to enjoy, plus the UK’s longest bench; check it out, it’s a thousand feet long!

There’s more here, too. You’ll find amusements for the little ones, beautifully maintained seafront gardens, a model boating lake, mini golf, plenty of car parking and several nearby eateries. And the beach is just a short walk from the town centre, with its many shops and railway station. No wonder Littlehampton remains a go-to destination for so many people.
