Knockhatch Ski School

There’s something wonderfully exhilarating about enjoying all the thrills of skiing without having to put up with freezing temperatures and overly expensive ski passes. 

This is a superb winter sports facility that has so much to offer, including a dramatic 110-metre main slope that, although it has an artificial surface, feels and acts like the real thing. It’s extremely forgiving should you take a tumble, which makes it perfect for all, including those who are learning new skills. And thanks to a mist lubrication, it mimics the conditions that come from fresh, powdery snow. 

In addition, you can try your hand at snowboarding and tubing, or you might want to sign up to skiing lessons from the experts. And if you’re more than a little curious but don’t know what to expect, book yourself a one-hour taster session and you never know, you could become completely hooked! Knockhatch Ski School is located in Hailsham, and is within easy reach of Newhaven. Lewis and Eastbourne. And when you feel the need for some refreshment, the school has a Costa café on site.
