Worthing Beach

Ideal for: Couples, Everyone, Families, Older Flyers, Solo Flyers
One of the most famous stretches of seafront in the whole of the UK, Worthing Beach has something to suit all tastes and all ages

The seafront at Worthing can be busy and bustling, but it’s large enough for everyone to find some solitude if they need it. Here along this iconic stretch of West Sussex coastline, you can enjoy a long walk, a satisfying bike ride, any number of watersports, plenty of opportunities to eat and drink, savour the views of the English Channel or, should you feel the need to unwind, settle back on the beach and watch the world go by.

There’s a five-mile-long promenade here, plus a historic art deco pier dating back to the 1860s and all the fresh air your mind and body can handle. It’s a popular town, of course, but when you’re on the beach it’s easy to find some tranquillity when you need it. One of the most pleasing aspects of life on Worthing Beach is that there really is something for everyone.

In the summer, you can enjoy ice creams and a range of mobile food temptations, while all year round you’ll have opportunities to sample cafés and restaurants just across the road from the beach. And if you’re in the mood to get active, head to the beach once again for kayaking, windsurfing, paragliding, sailing and more.
